Stuck? No.

So I just got done returning a data logging probe to a well when on my way back I thought, I'll take a slight detour here and go see how high the Vermilion River is. I went to a place that I have been to many times over the past few weeks, of course never after a rain event. And this is what happened.




You can't see it well from the pictures but the trench at its deepest is about 8" deep, which is up to the hubcaps on the truck.

You'll notice grass in the trench, that was placed there by me once I was stuck. The reason I went the way I did was because thats where the path was, had I known it was soft and muddy, I would have gone 5 feet to the west of where I was, the ground there was rock solid.
