Work Work

Well if you didn't know by now I have started my job.

This is my desk. Notice the 3 monitors and 2 computers.

And this is what I passed on my way home today. Although this morning I saw a Saleen Mustang and an e46 M3.

Additional "The Office" News

After the 44 minute supersized episode on May 3rd, the following week (May 10th) will run 40 minutes long and the week after that (May 17th) which is also the season finale will run 1 hour long!

The Office

Now I've got good news and bad news. The bad news is that tonights episode is a rerun. The good news is that next week is new and the following week is a 45 minute supersized episode!

Here's what tv guide has to say about next week:
"An office crisis ensues when a shipment of paper is distributed with an obscene watermark. Worse, a school has delivered prom invitations on the tainted batch. It's up to Michael to hold an off-the-cuff press conference to manage the media storm."

And the supersized episode:
"The staffers are shocked when a flasher victimizes Phyllis. In response, Michael takes the office ladies on a women's appreciation excursion. Meanwhile, Dwight and his nemesis, Andy team up to catch the deviant."

Top Gear News

Jeremey Clarkson on the future of Top Gear. Taken from the latest Top Gear Magazine

FYI

Today at 12:11 am, was my 3 year 5 month and 7th day anniversary. Here's to another 3 years 5 months and 7 days.

On another note my thoughts on the recent article of Top Gear being brought to the USA, bad idea....maybe. Now Top Gear has been shown here in America on the Discovery Channel, but it was an extremely edited version where they cut out the news and the star in a reasonably priced car segments. Since the star in a reasonably priced car was usually some celebrity only people of the UK would recognize that seemed ok with me. But the news segment is where some of the great "cocking about" happens and is usually the funniest part of the show. They also said they would be stressing American cars. Why, I've always felt they've had a good mix of cars on the show from all over the world. They are certainly biased towards British cars but I can't blame them for that. And I think there is a good reason why they don't need to stress American cars, I don't car about the new Ford Explorer, I don't care how fast it'll go around a track, its a SUV, its meant to get soccer moms with kids from home to soccer. The American cars they already cover are the cars I care about, the Ford Gt, the Dodge Viper, the Chevy Corvette, etc. Don't get me wrong though, I'd love to be able to watch Top Gear on my tv, but it has to be done right. So my word of warning to Andy Wilman, don't fuck this up.

Pointless Ebay Bidding

Last night after bidding on a Ferrari 360 I decided I'd expand my horizons, so here are a couple of things I've bid on recently. First off, and Aston Martin DB7, a Bentley Continental GT and finally a 6000 square foot mansion in Texas.
